  This is truly the epitome of an old world classic barber. This is not the Supercuts barber with kids cutting your hair or even the other barbers who have a bunch of chairs and you never know who you will get. George welcomed me warmly with an offer to take my coat and sat me down with an unexpected offer of a refreshment; a beer, cappuccino or a whiskey. Now that’s a welcome!! I enjoyed the cappuccino and the delightful conversation while getting perhaps the best haircut of my life. Classic and clean with attention to detail beyond measure. Unhurried and caring. I then asked if he did shaves as I have never had one at a barber shop. Does he ever do a shave! What an experience!! I’m already planning on bringing buddies back to make a time of getting some shaves and sipping whiskey and spending an evening out in Saratoga. Never in my life did I expect to even consider including a visit to the barber in my plans to spend the evening out with some friends. This is truly a special place. You won’t be disappointed.
